Our mission is rooted in the belief that “creating people who create” means nurturing the *character* of creators—not only their technical skills. That’s why we treat words like **responsibility**, **morality**, and **ethics** not only as abstract principles, but as part of a creator’s *persona*. We call these evolving behaviors **“Shigusa”** —deliberate or unconscious gestures that embody how one acts as a creative individual in society. This *Code of Conduct* is updated regularly, offering creators a compass to understand what should *not* be done and what *should* be done —with clarity, flexibility, and humanity, in line with laws and ethics. #### 🌍 **Purpose** Generative AI creators explore their own humanity and engage in dialogue with society using generative technologies. #### 🚫 **What Not To Do** Cause harm or confusion to others (e.g., deepfakes, unauthorized likeness usage). Confuse legal/technical capability with social norms or emotional consequences. Force others to adopt specific tools or criticize others for not doing so. Use AI for Good: imagine how your work can support the disabled or marginalized. Learn and share knowledge openly in communities and forums. Distinguish reproducible methods from improvisational ones. Offer respect and warmth (“nukumority”)—especially in communication. Show gratitude, ask clear questions, report progress, and share credit. Recognize and support open-source contributors who work in limited time and resources. Build respectful, ethical, and legally compliant communities in business and creation.
