Generative AI Creator's
Code of Conduct (v.2025 Edition)
"Shigusa" - The nuanced, embodied behaviors of creators in the age of generative AI.

AICU’s vision: “Creating People Who Create”
At AICU, we are building global learning media for creative expression with generative AI. Our mission is rooted in the belief that “creating people who create” means nurturing the character of creators—not only their technical skills.
That’s why we treat words like responsibility, morality,
and ethics not only as abstract principles,
but as part of a creator’s persona.
We call these evolving behaviors “Shigusa”
—deliberate or unconscious gestures that embody
how one acts as a creative individual in society.
This Code of Conduct is updated regularly,
offering creators a compass to understand
what should not be done and what should be done
—with clarity, flexibility, and humanity,
in line with laws and ethics.
🌍 Purpose
Generative AI creators explore their own humanity and engage in dialogue with society using generative technologies.
🚫 What Not To Do
Cause harm or confusion to others (e.g., deepfakes, unauthorized likeness usage).
Confuse legal/technical capability with social norms or emotional consequences.
Force others to adopt specific tools or criticize others for not doing so.
Mislead audiences with narratives like “AI is automatic,” “cheap,”
or “effortless.”
Devalue the creative essence of human expression.

✅ What To Do
Embrace joy and passion in creating.
Use AI for Good: imagine how your work can support the disabled or marginalized.
Learn and share knowledge openly in communities and forums.
Distinguish reproducible methods from improvisational ones.
Offer respect and warmth (“nukumority”)—especially in communication.
Show gratitude, ask clear questions, report progress, and share credit.
Recognize and support open-source contributors who work in limited time and resources.
Build respectful, ethical, and legally compliant communities in business and creation.
